Role Summary

The Cloud Infrastructure Developer will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure components that support software applications and digital services.

The role combines software development, infrastructure automation, cloud configuration, and deployment engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to building reliable cloud environments, automating infrastructure processes, and improving the performance and availability of application services.

Working remotely from Estonia, the developer will collaborate with software engineers, DevOps specialists, cybersecurity professionals, and technical architects to deliver secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure components supporting business applications.

• Design and implement automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration processes.

• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Develop infrastructure automation scripts using Python, Bash, or other relevant programming languages.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Support the configuration and maintenance of cloud networking and storage environments.

• Develop and maintain deployment workflows for cloud-hosted applications.

• Collaborate with software development teams to improve application deployment processes.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and resource utilization.

• Investigate infrastructure failures and implement appropriate corrective solutions.

• Support the implementation of cloud security controls and access management procedures.

• Maintain technical documentation covering infrastructure architecture and deployment processes.

• Assist with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Participate in technical reviews and contribute to infrastructure development standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure development, software engineering, or DevOps.

• Practical knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Programming or scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure architecture.

• Experience with Docker and container-based application environments.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration is an advantage.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and access control.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed technical teams.
