Role Summary

The Foreign Exchange Market Analyst will conduct research and analysis across global currency markets, examining economic indicators, central bank policies, market sentiment, and price movements to develop informed assessments of foreign exchange conditions.

The role requires a combination of quantitative analysis, macroeconomic research, and practical understanding of currency market dynamics. Working remotely from Estonia, the analyst will contribute to market intelligence, trading research, and the development of analytical reports that support informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor major foreign exchange markets, including EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, and other relevant currency pairs.

• Analyze economic data releases, central bank announcements, inflation figures, interest rates, and employment indicators.

• Evaluate the impact of geopolitical developments and macroeconomic events on currency valuations.

• Conduct technical and fundamental analysis to identify market trends, price patterns, and potential trading scenarios.

• Prepare daily and weekly forex market reports outlining key developments, market drivers, and analytical observations.

• Develop and maintain analytical models used to assess currency market movements and economic relationships.

• Interpret market volatility and liquidity conditions to support a comprehensive understanding of trading environments.

• Research historical currency price movements and identify recurring market patterns.

• Collaborate with trading, risk management, and financial research teams to share relevant market insights.

• Maintain accurate research documentation and ensure that analytical conclusions are supported by reliable data.

• Present market findings in a clear and structured format for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Contribute to the development of research methodologies and market monitoring processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Experience in forex market analysis, financial research, investment analysis, or a comparable analytical role.

• Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets and the factors influencing currency valuations.

• Knowledge of macroeconomic indicators, monetary policy, and international financial markets.

• Familiarity with technical analysis, quantitative research, and financial data interpretation.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

• Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis tools.

• Experience using financial market data platforms is an advantage.

• Ability to communicate complex market developments clearly and accurately.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
