Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Quality Analyst to help maintain the accuracy and consistency of datasets supporting digital financial services.

This is a quality-focused position combining data entry, verification, reconciliation, exception handling, and operational analysis. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that financial information flowing through internal systems remains accurate and dependable.

Core Responsibilities

Data Entry & Maintenance

• Enter and maintain financial and operational records across internal systems.
• Update account, transaction, payment, and reference information.
• Process structured datasets according to defined operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate records throughout the data lifecycle.

Data Verification

• Compare system information with approved source documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, missing fields, duplicate entries, and formatting issues.
• Perform regular data-quality reviews.
• Investigate straightforward inconsistencies and coordinate escalation where necessary.
• Verify corrections before records are finalized.

Financial Data Reconciliation

• Assist with routine reconciliation of operational and transaction records.
• Compare datasets across internal systems.
• Investigate mismatches and document identified exceptions.
• Prepare reconciliation summaries for relevant operational teams.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain data-quality logs and exception registers.
• Prepare spreadsheets and recurring operational reports.
• Document data-processing activities and corrections.
• Contribute to internal procedures for accurate data handling.

Cross-Functional Support

• Work with finance, payments, compliance, customer operations, and technology teams.
• Respond to internal requests for verified information.
• Communicate data issues clearly and escalate material exceptions appropriately.
• Support process-improvement initiatives designed to reduce data errors.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in data operations, financial administration, banking operations, data entry, quality assurance, or a related discipline.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large volumes of structured information.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, financial, or database systems.
• Ability to handle confidential financial and customer information responsibly.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, foreign exchange, or financial technology is highly valued.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally methodical and takes ownership of data accuracy. You are comfortable identifying small inconsistencies, following them through to their source, documenting the issue, and ensuring the correct information reaches the appropriate system.
