A technology-driven fintech organisation in Estonia is seeking a Fintech Accounting Systems Manager to oversee the systems and processes connecting financial operations, accounting, transaction data, and management reporting.

The position sits between finance and technology, requiring someone who understands accounting processes while also being comfortable managing systems, integrations, automation, and data flows.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the functional management of accounting and financial systems.
• Coordinate integrations between transaction platforms, payment systems, accounting applications, and reporting tools.
• Improve automated financial-data flows and reduce unnecessary manual processes.
• Ensure financial-system configurations support accurate and consistent reporting.
• Work with finance and engineering teams to resolve system-related accounting issues.
• Develop requirements for system enhancements and financial automation projects.
• Monitor data quality across financial-system integrations and reporting pipelines.
• Support month-end and period-end processes from a systems perspective.
• Establish controls around financial data interfaces, permissions, and system changes.
• Coordinate testing for new financial-system functionality and integrations.
• Maintain documentation covering financial workflows, integrations, and system dependencies.
• Evaluate technology improvements that can increase financial-operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in finance systems, accounting technology, financial operations, ERP, or fintech.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Experience managing financial systems and technology integrations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, system interfaces, and automation.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to financial data accuracy.
• Experience working with finance, engineering, and technology stakeholders.
• Strong project-management and problem-solving capabilities.

Systems Environment

Accounting platforms, ERP systems, payment and transaction platforms, financial APIs, data warehouses, reporting tools, automated reconciliation workflows, access-control systems, and finance automation technologies.
