Shape the data infrastructure that enables accurate, transparent and compliant financial reporting.

We are seeking a Regulatory Reporting & Data Lead to oversee the development of high-quality reporting capabilities across a modern fintech environment. The role combines financial data management, regulatory reporting, controls, analytics, and technology.

You will be responsible for ensuring that regulatory and management reporting is supported by accurate, traceable, well-governed data. Working across finance, compliance, risk, product, and engineering teams, you will help establish reporting processes capable of supporting growth across European markets.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the development and continuous improvement of regulatory reporting processes.
• Translate regulatory reporting requirements into structured data and technology specifications.
• Establish data controls covering completeness, accuracy, consistency, lineage, and timeliness.
• Work with engineering teams to develop automated reporting pipelines and validation processes.
• Coordinate reporting requirements across finance, risk, compliance, operations, and product functions.
• Investigate data discrepancies and lead root-cause analysis.
• Establish clear data ownership and reporting accountability across business functions.
• Improve reporting automation and reduce reliance on manual spreadsheet-based processes.
• Maintain documentation covering reporting logic, data sources, transformations, and controls.
• Support internal and external reviews by providing clear evidence of reporting processes and data lineage.
• Monitor changes in European financial regulations and assess their reporting implications.
• Develop dashboards and management information that provide senior leadership with meaningful financial and operational insight.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial data, risk, compliance, finance technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial data structures and reporting processes.
• Experience working with SQL, data warehouses, BI platforms, or reporting automation tools.
• Knowledge of European financial-services regulation and reporting principles.
• Strong understanding of data governance, controls, reconciliation, and data lineage.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into operational or technical processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with compliance, finance, engineering, and senior management.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
