A technology-focused financial services company in Estonia is looking for a Fintech Product Operations Director to establish scalable operating models that connect product strategy, technology delivery, customer operations, risk, and business performance.

This leadership role is designed for an experienced professional who can turn complex fintech operations into efficient, measurable, and continuously improving processes.

Your Mandate

You will oversee the operational framework supporting the organisation’s product portfolio, ensuring teams have clear processes, performance indicators, governance structures, and escalation mechanisms.

You will work closely with product, engineering, compliance, finance, customer operations, and executive leadership.

Core Responsibilities

• Establish and lead product-operations strategy across a portfolio of digital financial products.
• Develop operating models that support efficient product development and service delivery.
• Define KPIs, operational dashboards, service metrics, and performance-management frameworks.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Coordinate complex product launches and major operational changes.
• Develop governance processes for product performance, incidents, risks, and business continuity.
• Work with engineering and product teams to improve delivery processes and operational readiness.
• Partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure appropriate controls are embedded into product operations.
• Analyse operational and customer data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare strategic recommendations and performance reports for executive leadership.
• Lead cross-functional programmes involving multiple business and technology teams.

What You Bring

• Significant experience in fintech, digital banking, payments, financial services, or technology operations.
• Proven leadership experience across complex, cross-functional environments.
• Strong understanding of digital-product lifecycles and technology delivery.
• Excellent analytical and process-improvement capabilities.
• Experience establishing KPIs, governance frameworks, and operational controls.
• Strong stakeholder-management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to manage strategic priorities while maintaining operational discipline.
