Position Overview

The P2P Payments Product Specialist will contribute to the design, enhancement, and optimization of peer-to-peer financial products serving consumers and businesses. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, payment technology, customer experience, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the product lifecycle of P2P payment solutions from discovery through continuous improvement.
• Analyse customer behaviour, transaction data, market developments, and competitor offerings.
• Translate customer and business requirements into clear product specifications.
• Work closely with software engineers, UX/UI specialists, analysts, compliance teams, and payment operations.
• Define functional requirements for payment flows, account features, transaction controls, and user experiences.
• Monitor product performance using transaction volumes, conversion rates, retention, failure rates, and customer feedback.
• Identify friction points within P2P payment journeys and develop improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and product-release activities.
• Support integration with payment processors, banking infrastructure, identity systems, and other financial technology components.
• Contribute to product documentation, roadmaps, feature prioritization, and business cases.
• Evaluate emerging payment technologies and assess their potential application within P2P services.
• Ensure new features are designed with scalability, security, reliability, and regulatory considerations in mind.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in fintech, digital payments, banking technology, or financial-product development.
• Strong understanding of P2P payment ecosystems and digital financial services.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment.
• Experience translating business requirements into actionable product specifications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in agile, technology-driven environments.
