Role Overview
The Risk Analyst will support the identification, measurement, monitoring, and mitigation of financial and operational risks across digital financial services. The position requires strong quantitative reasoning and the ability to interpret transactional, customer, and portfolio data to identify potential areas of exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and transactional data to identify emerging risk patterns.
• Monitor credit, transaction, operational, liquidity, and customer-related risk indicators.
• Develop risk reports, dashboards, and analytical models for management.
• Investigate unusual transaction behavior and potential financial anomalies.
• Support the development and continuous refinement of risk-scoring methodologies.
• Conduct portfolio and exposure analysis using historical and current datasets.
• Work with compliance and fraud teams to assess suspicious activity.
• Perform scenario analysis and stress-testing exercises.
• Review risk controls and recommend improvements where weaknesses are identified.
• Maintain accurate documentation of risk assessments and analytical methodologies.
• Track key risk indicators and escalate material developments appropriately.
• Collaborate with technology and data teams to improve automated risk-monitoring capabilities.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial risk, banking, fintech, insurance, payments, or analytical environments.
• Strong Excel and SQL capabilities; knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical tools is advantageous.
• Excellent numerical and analytical reasoning.
• Ability to interpret large datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.
