Position Overview

An organization in Tartu is seeking a professional and people-focused Human Resources Specialist to support its growing workforce and manage important employee-related activities. The successful candidate will contribute to recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, workplace development, and the implementation of effective HR procedures.

This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally. The Human Resources Specialist will work closely with managers and employees to ensure a positive, productive, and well-organized working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job advertising and candidate communication.
• Support employee onboarding and orientation processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist managers with workforce planning and employee-related matters.
• Coordinate training, professional development, and workplace initiatives.
• Support performance-management and employee-engagement activities.
• Help ensure that HR procedures comply with employment regulations and company policies.
• Respond to employee questions regarding workplace policies and administrative processes.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain confidential personnel information.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of workplace culture and employee experience.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in HR administration, recruitment, or employee relations is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Good knowledge of office productivity software and HR systems.
• Professional English skills; Estonian language knowledge is considered an advantage.
