Role Overview
An organization is seeking a capable Security Manager to coordinate physical security, information-protection practices, security policies, incident management, and organizational resilience. The successful candidate will assess security risks, establish appropriate controls, coordinate security activities, and ensure that employees and business operations are adequately protected.

The position requires a manager who can balance preventative security measures with practical operational requirements. You will work closely with IT, facilities, HR, legal, risk, and senior management teams to establish an integrated approach to organizational security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain organizational security policies and procedures.
• Conduct security-risk assessments across facilities, operations, personnel, and technology environments.
• Coordinate physical security systems, access management, and workplace-security measures.
• Support information-security teams in identifying organizational security risks.
• Develop incident-response and security-escalation procedures.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor security controls and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Coordinate security awareness and employee training programs.
• Manage relationships with external security providers and specialist contractors.
• Support business-continuity and emergency-response planning.
• Prepare security reports, risk assessments, and management briefings.
• Review security requirements for new offices, projects, systems, and business activities.
• Monitor emerging security threats and recommend appropriate preventive measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Information Security, Business, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in corporate security, risk management, security operations, or a comparable field.
• Strong knowledge of security-risk assessment and incident-management principles.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple security stakeholders and service providers.
• Relevant security or risk-management certification is advantageous.
