Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory movement, and logistics performance. The successful candidate will ensure that goods and materials move efficiently through the organization’s supply network while maintaining appropriate service, cost, quality, and delivery standards.

The position combines operational leadership with planning and performance management. You will coordinate logistics teams, transportation providers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal departments while using data to improve delivery performance and reduce unnecessary costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day transportation, warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations.
• Develop delivery schedules and coordinate transportation requirements.
• Monitor shipment accuracy, delivery times, transportation costs, and service levels.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, warehouses, and suppliers.
• Establish logistics KPIs and develop regular performance reports.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and operational inefficiencies.
• Develop contingency plans for transportation and supply disruptions.
• Coordinate inventory movements with procurement, production, sales, and operations teams.
• Monitor warehouse utilization and improve storage and handling processes.
• Review transportation contracts and negotiate service requirements where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to reduce fuel, transportation, storage, and handling costs.
• Implement technology and data-driven processes to improve shipment visibility.
• Ensure logistics documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Lead continuous-improvement projects across logistics and distribution operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply-chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of distribution and inventory-management processes.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing logistics teams and external service providers.
• Strong analytical and cost-management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP, warehouse-management, or transportation-management systems is advantageous.
