About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong Security Engineer to help protect digital platforms, applications, infrastructure, and sensitive financial information against evolving cybersecurity threats.

The role combines security engineering, infrastructure protection, vulnerability management, incident response, and continuous security improvement. You will work closely with software developers, cloud specialists, infrastructure teams, and security leadership to ensure security is integrated into technology development rather than treated as a separate operational function.

The successful professional will be expected to investigate technical vulnerabilities, strengthen security controls, support secure development practices, and contribute to a resilient technology environment capable of operating at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Identify, investigate, and remediate technical vulnerabilities.
• Support security monitoring and incident-response activities.
• Conduct security assessments of applications and technology platforms.
• Work with development teams to integrate security into software-development processes.
• Assist with identity, access, authentication, and authorization controls.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
• Participate in security testing and technical risk assessments.
• Improve security documentation, procedures, and operational processes.
• Support the development of secure and resilient technology architecture.

Requirements

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure, or software development.
• Knowledge of network security, cloud security, application security, and access management.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and vulnerability-management tools.
• Understanding of secure software-development practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Relevant professional certifications will be advantageous.
