Description
About the role
We’re looking for a leader with genuine general management experience — someone who has owned a P&L, built teams, and driven growth with commercial rigour. This role demands entrepreneurial ambition, sharp analytical thinking, and the credibility to represent Bolt externally with regulators, partners, and media.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Lead strategy and execution of the Estonian ride-hailing business, balancing growth with sustainable profitability.
- Maintain strong marketplace health — driver supply, pricing competitiveness, ETAs, and rider experience.
- Build and develop a top-tier local team with a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Drive driver engagement: competitive earnings, quality support, loyalty programmes, and partner relationships.
- Improve rider satisfaction, reliability, and retention through data-driven initiatives
- Represent Bolt with regulators, public affairs, and local media — shape the operating environment, don’t just react to it.
- Identify and pursue partnerships and business development opportunities that extend Bolt’s market position.
About you
- Proven general management or senior operations experience, ideally in high-growth or marketplace environments.
- Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen — you understand unit economics and act accordingly.
- Data-driven decision-making with the speed and conviction to execute.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder and external communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you treat the business as your own.
- Fluent English; Estonian is a meaningful advantage.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and operating across global and local contexts.
Why you’ll love it here
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
- Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
- Celebrate 5 years with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
- Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
- Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
