Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst, Material Control role is to ensure the timely supply of all purchased parts within the assigned area, from suppliers to the unloading location, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and data quality standards. This role autonomously monitors and controls a defined range of production parts, emphasizing inventory management and adherence to quality requirements. Orders and releases raw materials. Liaises between production and customer service. Conducts cycle counts and investigation. Monitors and tracks performance of suppliers. Assists in supplier development. Prepares and issues purchase orders for blanket production material at negotiated prices that meet divisional goals of cost competitiveness. Handles customs and brokerage issues for production material, equipment and supplies
