What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and own the long-term technical vision and strategy for the iOS platform, ensuring our mobile experience is on par with the best consumer apps (Airbnb, Uber, Duolingo)
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8 – 9 iOS engineers — raising the bar for craft, code quality, performance, and mobile UX
  • Partner with Product and Design leadership to shape the mobile roadmap, ensuring engineering influences direction and doesn’t just execute
  • Drive high-quality, high-velocity shipping with strong operational frameworks for planning, prioritization, and delivery excellence
  • Build scalable mobile architecture — owning decisions around app performance, offline capabilities, release management, CI/CD, and platform tooling
  • Use data to guide decisions, instrument systems, measure impact, and continuously optimize the iOS experience
  • Execute on performance management — coach engineers on day-to-day challenges and long-term career development, maintain standards of excellence, and recognize outperformance
