Role Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Software Engineer to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions supporting modern financial applications.

You will collaborate with product managers, architects, data specialists, designers, and other engineers to transform complex financial requirements into dependable software products. The position offers substantial ownership across system design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade fintech applications.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, and business applications.
• Develop reliable systems capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions.
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical design reviews.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and performance optimisation.
• Investigate and resolve production issues and technical defects.
• Integrate internal systems with external financial and technology platforms.
• Apply secure coding principles throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployment and operational reliability.
• Review code and contribute to engineering standards and development practices.
• Produce clear technical documentation for systems and applications.
• Evaluate emerging technologies that could improve platform capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional software-development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or Go.
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, distributed systems, and software architecture.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of application security and performance engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
