About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Principal to provide advanced technical and strategic leadership across complex digital-finance initiatives. This role is designed for a senior professional who can operate beyond individual projects, influence architectural and engineering decisions, and establish standards that support sustainable technology growth.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers, product leaders, security specialists, data professionals, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems and guide the development of scalable digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical guidance across complex fintech initiatives.
• Establish engineering and technology standards for critical platforms.
• Evaluate architectural decisions, technical risks, and long-term scalability.
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to technical capability development.
• Lead investigations into complex performance and reliability challenges.
• Collaborate with product teams to determine technically viable solutions.
• Assess emerging technologies and their potential business applications.
• Promote automation, engineering efficiency, and operational resilience.
• Contribute to technology strategy and long-term platform modernization.
• Communicate complex technical decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience in software engineering, architecture, or technology leadership.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and software architecture.
• Demonstrated experience solving complex technical problems.
• Strong mentoring and technical leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Experience within fintech, banking, payments, or other high-scale technology environments is advantageous.
