Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, own, and maintain the enterprise reliability plan, establishing program-wide reliability goals, methods, processes, and metrics.
- Lead and perform system safety analyses, including Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMEA/FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Hazard Analysis, and Safety Assessment Reports (SARs).
- Conduct and support Orbital Debris Mitigation Standard Practices (ODMSP) analysis to ensure compliance with U.S. government space sustainability requirements and applicable regulations.
- Perform reliability modeling and analysis, including reliability block diagrams (RBDs), Markov analysis, and probabilistic risk assessments (PRA) to quantify system reliability and availability.
- Integrate reliability and safety requirements into the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment, ensuring traceability from mission requirements through subsystem design.
- Support requirements definition and decomposition for safety and reliability, ensuring allocations are flowed down to subsystem and component teams.
