JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our Anti- Financial Crime & Compliance team! This role involves collaborating with development teams, identifying and resolving defects, and maintaining automation frameworks to support efficient testing cycles. With a focus on quality and attention to detail, the Software Engineer in Test plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of software products.
What You Will Do:
- Write high-quality code to automate repetitive test cases, including functional, regression, and API tests.
- Setting up and managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure automated tests run with every code change.
- Participating in developer code reviews to assess testability and identify potential issues before they reach production.
- Developing tools to simulate heavy loads (performance testing).
- Designing automated solutions to generate, mask, and manage complex datasets to ensure privacy compliance and reduce test dependencies.
- Take responsibility for professional self-development and contribute to own and team performance improvement by constructive feedback and relevant suggestions.
What We Expect:
- Strong programming (Python, Java, etc.) skills, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design.
- Knowledge of AWS MWAA (Apache Airflow) DAGs, concepts, integration with other AWS services.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of QA tools and processes, including defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Selenide, TestNG, or Postman, performance testing tools JMeter or Gatling.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Jenkins.
- Agile mindset with hands-on participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product delivery.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication.
