Join us to lead the Legal & Risk team within the Product department. This role of this platform team is to ensure that all systems and contracts are legally compliant, keep the fraud and AML cases to a minimum and help with creditworthiness assessment setup. Product Owner is the team lead in charge of Legal & Risk strategy and engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the strategy and roadmap for compliance improvements, risk and fraud technical implementations and other legal functions of ESTO’s products

Manage a team of engineers to execute business needs based on the roadmap

Partner with Legal and Credit departments to ensure compliant systems and proper implementations of crediworthiness assessment rules

Improve and maintain the systems for performing regular compliance checks for internal rules, AML and fraud cases, and creditworthiness assessments

Push for innovative ideas within your areas of responsibility
REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 4+ years in Product Ownership/Management, preferably in fintech/banking/legal;

Legal fluency: ability to understand legal documents, regulations, communication style with lawyers, risk assessments

Communication and documentation: crisp specifications, metrics-driven decision-making, and clear stakeholder updates in English

Engineering management: experience working with engineers and executing technical projects from scratch

Precision and pedantry: default mode of operating must be to pay attention to details and ensure every checkbox is checked
