JOB ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a React-based micro-frontend architecture for our banking systems. This role will be instrumental in establishing a scalable frontend framework and initiating the development of a web application tailored to support back-office operations.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Lead the design and implementation of a scalable micro-frontend architecture using React.
- Establish frontend development standards, tooling, and reusable components.
- Actively contributing to sprint development while taking a lead role in defining frontend development practices and mentoring other web developers.
- Drive the development of a new web application for internal back-office users.
- Ensure performance, security, and accessibility best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Expert-level proficiency in React, including hooks, context, and state management.
- Strong experience with micro-frontend architectures (e.g., Module Federation, Webpack, Single-SPA).
- Solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend tooling.
- Strong understaning of CSS, SASS, CSS-modules
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright), and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with backend integration (REST APIs, GraphQL).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in banking or enterprise environments is a plus.
- Experience in agentic development is a plus (spec-kit, bmad-method).
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
